Time

Time. What is time?

Is time just an illusion? Everybody wants one thing. More time...

People often say, prey "I need more time."

Try to imagine a life without time, without keeping time...

We keep track of time. We have schedules. We have clocks everywhere. And yet, in nature, all around you no one else keeps track of time. Only we humans do. Animals don't keep track of time. Only we humans measure time.

Because we, humans, measure time, keep track of time, we suffer a terrible fear. A fear no animals suffer. No other species except us. The fear of time running out...

We use so many words that describe time, so many expressions about time. You can pass time. You can kill time. You can waste time. You can lose time. You can be on time. You can be out of time. And so many more. We have so many expressions about time that there may be as many of them as minutes in a day.

Some of us want the time to go slower. Those of us that are more patient. Or, when we're having good time or we're in a good company, we want time to slow down. But time cannot be slowed down. Time cannot be stopped.

Others want the time to go faster. Those more impatient. Or those waiting for something to happen. Waiting for a reply from the loved one. Waiting for a message from a family member. Waiting for that exam result. Waiting for that terrifying moment to find out what a doctor has to say after doing tests on us. And then, there comes a moment when we want time to stop... freightened of what happens next... But the time cannot be stopped. Time cannot be slowed down. Despite all the power and technology we have, we cannot control time.

We cannot buy time. All the money in the world cannot buy you more time. And when your time comes, when it's time to go... there is nothing you can do. You cannot buy youslef more time when it's time to go.

Don't waste time

 Make every moment count.

Make good use of every second, every minute, and every hour of your day.

Today is today, and it will never come back. It will not happen again.

Love,

M.
